PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST :- P.E.Test: 40 marks. (2 (two) events viz.)
- Male:- 1600 meters race
- Female:- 800 meters race
Long Jump – for Male & Transgender 335 cm (minimum) and for female 244 cm (minimum), 3 chances (longest valid jump will be considered).
- Male & Transgender candidates:
- Running: Those who qualify in the PST will have to appear in 1600 meters race to be completed within 450 seconds. Maximum qualifying time 450 seconds.
- Long Jump: (Minimum 10 feet 11.89 inch.)
- Female Candidates.
- Running: Those who qualify in the PST will have to appear in 800 meters race to be completed within 240 seconds. Maximum qualifying time -240 seconds.
- Long Jump : Minimum 244 cm (3 chances)
4. SELECTION PROCEDURE :
Candidates whos applications are found correct in all respects will be called for a written test, Date and venue (S) of which will be communicated later on. Will be entertained in this regard. (examination center, (biometrics of each candidate) will be done.)
written test:
- 100 Marks (completely OMR based). There will be
- 100 questions (1 (one) mark).
- negative marking of 1/2 mark for each wrong answer.
- The questions will be set three parts
I) Logical reasoning, Aptitude, Comprehension
II) Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India and
III) General knowledge.
- Candidates will us black or dark blue pen to answer the OMR based answer sheet.
- Duration of the test will be of 2 (three) hours.
The Question paper for Written Exam will be in the following languages.
- Assamese,
- Bodo,
- Bengali,
- English
The Final Merit List will be prepared with the following criteria :-
1) Written Exam - 100 marks
2) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - 40 marks
3) Extra-curricular Activities - 30 marks
4) Oral/Viva Voce - 05 marks
Total - 175 marks
